Only the current version of GAD objects are available to view on TabletGAD.
Editing in TabletGAD follows a similar process to the online system. See here for information on changes of status when editing objects.
Editing of objects is possible in the following scenarios:
Geotechnical assets - can only be edited if it has not yet been approved in GDMS. Approved asset data is read only.
All other Objects - Can be edited if preliminary or approved.
GAD Objects are in view only mode until the asset is opened. To Open an asset, navigate to contents and press Open Asset. The asset must be closed before it can be uploaded.
To be uploaded to the online system, assets must be closed. Assets cannot be closed if any required actions are outstanding on the asset, such as items having end locations missing.
If all condition items and sets have been confirmed or edited during the inspection, a Last Complete Inspection Date will be assigned to the asset.
If not all condition items or sets have been confirmed or edited, a Last Partial Inspection Date will be assigned to the asset.
Any object that has never been downloaded from or uploaded to the online system can be deleted. Once an object has been deleted, it cannot be restored.
To delete an object go into its details page and press Delete.
Approving and archiving is not available on TabletGAD, this must be carried out on the online system.
Objects can be marked to be reviewed for archive, using the Review Required field.
