To sync data, Editor or Manager level access is required for the GAD module for the specific Area the data is associated to (see Access Levels).

Syncing allows changes made to the data on TabletGAD to be uploaded to the online system without the need for intermediary software or a physical connection to other computer hardware.
In order to sync, an internet connection on your device is required.
Only assets that have been inspected and closed will upload to the online system. The Inspection Status field in the assets grid gives details on the current upload and syncing status of assets:

To sync, navigate to the package contents page and press the sync button . If the sync button is greyed out, this means that no assets are available to be uploaded to the system.
You will then be prompted to enter your GDMS login details in a web browser. Once you have entered your details and pressed login, a pop-up to warn that the site is trying to open TabletGAD, press Open. The data will start being synced.
After data has been synced, a pop-up will show how many of your assets have been successfully synced.
Before syncing, make sure that all assets you want to upload have been closed. If an asset is open, none of its data will be uploaded upon syncing.
Whenever data is uploaded, it should be checked to verify that all data has been uploaded correctly. Import History shows a log of each asset that has been uploaded onto the system. You can access Import History at Main Menu > Geotechnical.
Fields can be filtered and sorted to limit results to the uploads you are searching for. The Successful Import field shows if an asset has been successfully uploaded. If No then Import message will provide a reason for the failure.
Click on an asset and press View Asset to view the asset details page and check all information is as you expect.
