The User Management module comprises two datasets:
Organisations, representing a company, governmental, academic or other organisation.
Users, representing a single individual within one organisation.
Creating, viewing, or editing the details of Users and Organisations on the GDMS system is undertaken from the Users Menu.
The Users Menu is accessed by clicking Users within the Main Menu and is shown in the image below:
The menu options are:
Users Summary - Provides a list of all users on the system
Create User - Navigates to a form for creating a new User.
Organisations Summary - Provides a list of all organisations on the system
Create Organisation - Navigates to a form for creating a new Organisation.
To create users or organisations Manager or System level access is required for the User Management Module (see Access Levels), and so these menu items will not be visible to all users. See here for how to apply for a change in access level.
